OUT ON THE STEPS...

When I need a break at night, I head over to Ritual, grab some coffee and sit on the steps of the apartment building next door. It's a great spot for people watching, and tonite was no exception...

BEST THING I SAW
There is a hairy, six-foot tall man in a bad sequin evening gown standing on the platform in the window of Lost Weekend video, waiting for the photo booth pictures of he and his short lesbian friend who is wearing a fake moustache and dancing to the blinking lights of the vintage marquee sign on the floor. You can't make scenes like this up. Its just another night in The Mission.

BEST THING I HEARD

- A very disgruntled vegan girl who really wanted ice cream, but can't believe every place was closed. Poor vegan.
