David and I took the trek out to 46th and Judah this morning to see our friend Giulietta, who recently opened the Trouble Coffee Company. Trouble is a great little independent coffee shop run by a young lady who knows the ins and outs of coffee roasting and being a pro barista. Below are a few shots from this morning...
A cool little storefront out in the Sunset.
Owner and operator, Giulietta. This girl has the kind of energy that could light up a small town.
The espresso machine says it all.
The menu - Elbow Grease (her own brand of coffee), espresso, tea, coconut (yes, a real coconut), and toast (thick toast with a delicious dusting of cinnamon sugar). All local and all independent.
You really should.
My breakfast... and probably my breakfast every Saturday from now on.
The sign on the door says it all.
Artists David Benzler and Charlie Callahan created permanent installations in the shop that truly make it feel like a home. All of the ephemera reminds us of a well traveled life.
This happy dog just stopped by after playing at the beach.
The Trouble stereo... Fugazi was our soundtrack for breakfast this morning.
Be sure to stop by and say hi to Giulietta. Enjoy.
