Let me start off by saying that my day is officially ruined. Why, you ask? My salmon-shirted friend Ed told me this morning that Will Smith is producing the new Karate Kid film, staring who else... his 9 year-old son, as the next Karate Kid. But wait, it gets better. Due to the unfortunate death of Pat Morita (Mr. Miyagi), the kid is left without a master. Not so fast. The ever-hilarious Jackie Chan will be playing the role of Mr. Miyagi.
It just hurts my heart... a lot.
