It was the first film to really explore the world of hip hop in New York - graffiti, breakdancing and rap. First appearing on PBS in 1983, it introduced the world to some of the godfathers of graf – SEEN, DONDI, SKEME and many more. It also shows b-boy battles with some of the greatest, including Crazy Legs from the classic Rock Steady crew. It is the best Hip Hop 101 class you can take. Enjoy.
