Barry McGee, a.k.a. Twist, is a god. No... he's more important and less flowing robes than that. He's a silent, in the shadows, graffiti turned gallery art superstar. Since the first time I saw one of his pieces, I was absolutely blown away... and he hasn't disappointed me yet. I would definitely put him on my top 10 list of all-time most influential artists. His late wife Margaret Kilgallen was another ground breaker and icon in the Mission art scene.

Swindle magazine was lucky enough to have Andrew Jeffrey Wright sit down with Barry for an informal, but informative, interview. Enjoy.
